Hardin County Humane Society of OHIO
The Hardin County Humane Society is focused on making the lives of animals better in our community. We do that by assisting owners with programs such as Low Cost Spay and Neuter or Pet Food Pantry and also hold fundraising events to support our overhead bills as well as the foster animals in our Foster/Adoption program. We do not have a shelter, but have been able to rescue and save animals with foster homes allowing our animals to be in home settings while they are vetted and looking for their forever homes.
We offer several options of low cost spay and neuter to promote the importance of the surgery as well as alleviate the financial burden it can be.
Pet Food Pantry is a monthly pet food assistance program held at the humane society. We understand that everyone suffers during hard times and we don't think the animals should have to if we can help.
All donations made to the humane society are tax exempt because we are a 501(c)3 non profit. We don't expect donations, but where we rely solely on fundraising, grants, and donations we really do appreciate them! You can also show your support by attending our fundraising events!
